So sorry for the loss of your mom. Do keep the jewelry and wear it and enjoy it when you are able. It is OK to feel weird about it, just remember she loved that jewelry and it is a great way to remember her.

I would cook the crabs on Friday. But, they should be fine on ice until Sunday AM. Have fun!

1

She wants a cheese omelette, make her the best cheese omelette ever. I would ask her what her favorite cheese is and use that.

1

The coffee is not really for coffee flavor, it enhances the flavor of the chocolate. Cinnamon will not do that. It might taste pretty good, but won't taste as chocolatey.

1

Since it it your first set of pans, why not just try something inexpensive on amazon - they are having their big sale right now. I remember seeing All-Clad stuff there and I bet they have something a bit less pricey.

1

Get a cheap coffee grinder and only use it for spices.

Put the arugula on the pizza after it comes out of the oven.

1

If you grate some onion on your box grater, add them to the burger mix and man oh man it is good.

2 years would be OK but I don't know about 11 years

1

Use cookies, they hold up better than cake or bread in an ice cream sandwich.

1

grill them, they will have more flavor and will be fine tomorrow

1

You are getting out of the hospital and have to make dinner? No, get food delivered.

1

When I was a kid they were cut up hot dogs in pillsbury dough...now as an epicurean adult they are lil smokies in crescent roll dough with mustard inside and an egg wash on the outside. LOL same thing.

1

Have her use the dough hook on her mixer...or maybe she wants to spend time with you while you knead the dough.

1

Taco bar. Something for everyone and fun as well.

1

Tell your story to the lettuce seller at the farmer's market. They will probably find/set aside the smaller heads.

2

Don't bring a dish unless she asked you to bring a dish.

1

Make the dish you know tastes great. Stop worrying about wowing him. If he wanted to be wowed he would go to a fancy restaurant. Chefs want homemade food, made by someone else.

2

The mustard helps bind the sauce. Powdered won't work and the taste would be very different.

2

That is lovely. It looks similar to some of the beads made by Grace Ma.

1

If you swoon over a ring you should own it. Yellow gold would be my choice.

2

It looks like it may have been a bracelet in it's first life. The chain looks like it may have been added to make it a necklace. That is a very pretty piece of jewelry.

1

Better tip: Break eggs into a small strainer and let the liquidy part of the white drain. Then cook.

2

Get a colored gem. My engagement ring is a ruby solitaire. Wedding ring is a band with alternating rubies and diamonds. It is beautiful, unique and I love it.

1

They provide a great service. A warm meal, a warm smile and friendly conversation - it is extremely wonderful. It is not all that expensive either.

1

Sushi, dumplings, mousakka, lasagna with homemade sauce and pasta, a million cakes or cookies are super complicated.

42

I doubt they are real. Shein is not known for quality product and some of their stuff is actually toxic.

2

Me too! It was my mom's birthstone and I got that ring from her.

1

Your dutch oven is fine, you just need a spider skimmer.

1

I cook rice the same way I cook pasta, in a lot of water and drain the excess.

2

Love it! I own it's sister, same arrangement of gems, mine are garnets.

1

Chicken croquetas. I buy the chicken to make these beauties. Then I use the rest for tacos, sandwiches, pastas, soup.

1

Put a chop stick or a knife or a skewer or the back end of a fork and break up that dried stuff.

1

Scramble an egg and put it on top of that toast. It is actually really delicious. You can add cheese, ham, chives or not.

2

Talk to your mom. Tell her you want to learn to cook and maybe learn from her because she is a good cook. Butter her up. LOL. Compliment your favorite meal she makes and ask her to show you how to make it. Offer to cook for her once a week and see how it goes. Cooking is a l…

1

You could get meal kits delivered. They have what you need and instructions for making the dish. It might be a little expensive but will help you learn how to make different things.

2

I get that you think that. These days are questionable at customs. It would really suck to get caught.

1

I lived in Amsterdam for about 6 months about 40 years ago. I love that place.

1

That would make a great charm bracelet. It is lovely.

6

Your great grandmother has/had great taste. That is a beautiful ring.

1

The perfect pizza is pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives... yummy!

2

Looks great. I wish I could see the square flower pendant better.

2

Like said below let the craft fair organizer know. Also, find the social media pages/web page from the jeweler and give them a review. At least you have learned to check that stuff out before you buy it.

1

The chevron motif is the insignia for Standard Oil aka Chevron.

2

Why? Because this is not the time to get caught skirting the rules with US customs.

1

Makes me jealous and now I want a frikandel from FEBO.

1

YES! My engagement is a ruby solitaire and I love it. My wedding band looks like the one in your photos, rubies and diamonds in an eternity setting.

3

Beautiful rings and are you in lovely Amsterdam?

1

It might be worth getting married for that lovely jewelry...Just kidding but that is quite lovely.

2

Tears? Just kidding, I would use exotic mushrooms.

1

I am careful with my jewelry. I do not have travel jewelry. When I travel I take whatever goes with my outfits and I carry my jewelry in my purse.

5

Coleslaw, potato salad with a light dressing, baked beans, greens.

1

Cook rice like you cook pasta and drain it when it is cooked. Lots and lots of people make rice this way.

1

Love it, let it remind you of your grandmother, wear it. She left it to you because it is valuable.

1

Coworker talks too much. It looks great, you love it, nuff said!

2

Roast. Tacos. Pot pie. Curry. Fried. Sandwiches. Fried rice. Soup. Satay. Casserole.

2

Make her happy, buy a kitchenaid in her favorite color. Do not replace her current mixer with a wand style tool or you will never eat homemade cookies again. 😃

1

Thighs are the right portion to try. It is really hard to overcook them. 1/2 cup soy sauce and 4 or 5 garlic cloves or enough of this ratio to cover chicken, for an hour or so. You can add something sweet or acidic if you like.

1

More salt, and then add more salt. Chicken is bland and needs salt.

2

That is totally awesome. Each of those charms tells a story and that is so cool.

2

I would roast it in the oven with spring and summer vegs and sides. Then there will be great leftovers for a million things - tacos, pies, sandwiches, casseroles, soups, pasta dishes.

2

Taco bar. There can be something for everyone, they can make their own tacos and it's fun plus delicious.

1

Brine the chicken first. This will make it moister in any recipe.

1

Make small tartlets, fruit or custard - but use store bought puff pastry.

1

Best by is not the expiration date. If the can is intact the beans should be fine.

3

Everyone does not like the same things. And that is why you should make what you like and find the right customers.

1

Mayo (kewpie is yummy), pickle relish, worchestershire sauce. Simple and delicious.

1

Side-by-side is better, one up and one down is OK just swap the halfway through. When can I come over to have delicious dutch babies?

1

More likely your oven is off temp than a thermometer. My oven is 25 degrees off.

1

So lovely! I have that same emerald/diamond eternity on your ring finger in first picture. Love it!

11

You are doing a very nice thing. Mini quiches, bacon and egg sandwiches, spaghetti, chili, stew, soups, sweet and savory turnovers, burritos, little pizzas, tarts.

3

Soy sauce and vinegar is a great dipping sauce for potstickers!
