Don´t worry, it might take a little time, but I think that knowing mathematics is the key for an easier understanding of AI, of course it is hard at first. I would definitely encourage you not to give up! I personally come from a physics background (complex systems), and at first…

Hi! I am part of the team at Interhuman AI and one of the authors of the blog post, thanks for the questions and observations, so cool to see people interested in what we do!
True, we can either do that or add "make no mistakes" on the system prompt, or maybe we can test with "don´t hallucinate"
Thanks a lot! It´s so cool to see how scientists with different backgrounds think about AI and its problems. If you are interested in this particular type of hallucination I would recommend to check the references for the blog post [https://www.interhuman.ai/blog/goblin-yeah-frid…
That is partly true. We are not trying to eliminate hallucinations entirely, we are focused on a specific failure mode in multimodal models: over-relying on available modalities to compensate for missing ones. We already have some interesting ideas on what to test next!
Hey nice question! I am from the Interhuman AI team and one of the authors of the article. What you are proposing is one of the first things we thought about implementing as a quick temporary fix. The core of the blog post and of the issue we are trying to tackle is slightly diff…
